summer 2017 :: Spokane

COUSINS! Our annual trek to Spokane! The 7.5 hour road trip (just me and the girls) was much more enjoyable this year. Can't believe how fast these kids are growing up. So great to reconnect and spend time together in what has become a summer tradition.

Spokane -- the balance to our Hong Kong life -- where backyards are the norm, the kitchen is bigger than our entire apartment, where we cook and play with family, we have lazy unplanned days and we can be spontaneous, where we visit the dentist (often several times!), where we catch our breath and reconnect. And of course read lots of books together (*read aloud revival shameless plug*). See you next time!
