Our neighborhood hike

Tai Tam Reservoir is one of the oldest water facilities in Hong Kong and is right in our "backyard".

This network of reservoirs serves as a country park and a family hiking destination. It's gorgeous.

In the heat, we didn't last long enough to go all the way around. We did cross a few bridges, spot some of Hong Kong's giant spiders, and watch the turtles!

The slopes all over the island are protected from erosion and typhoons with clay? Concrete? Like the photo above.
